ESSENCE: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has granted Ghanaian director Akosua Adoma Owusu the exclusive film rights for her company Obibini Pictures LLC, to produce an adaptation of “On Monday of Last Week,” a short story from Adichie’s collection “The Thing Around Your Neck.”
