On Saturday, May 11th, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will receive an honorary degree from American University in Washington, DC and deliver the commencement address for the university’s College of Arts and Sciences. Ms. Adichie is being honored as “one of the world’s most powerful voices in fiction”.
